Ceramic fiber blanket is also called aluminium silicate fiber blanket. It is also called aluminium silicate double-sided needle-punched blanket. The interweaving degree, delamination resistance, tensile strength and surface smoothness of refractory ceramic fiberboard are greatly improved by double-sided needling process. Fiber blanket does not contain any organic binder to ensure that ceramic fiber blanket has good manufacturability and stability under high and low temperature conditions. Ceramic fiber blanket is white in colour and regular in size. It integrates fire resistance, heat insulation and heat preservation. It can maintain good tensile strength, toughness and fiber structure in neutral and oxidizing atmosphere for a long time. Temperature resistance is 950-1400 C. In the use of high-temperature pipeline occupies a dominant position, ceramic fiber blanket has strong heat insulation ability, so it can save more heat, which is 1.2 times the energy-saving capacity of the same kind of insulation materials (such as thermal insulation bricks), and is gradually replacing asbestos products. Its advantage is that it does not contain harmful ingredients to human body.

Ceramic fiber blanket type:

According to the processing technology of ceramic fibers, it can be divided into two kinds: silk-throwing blanket and jet blanket.

The ceramic fibers used in the silk-throwing blanket are thicker and longer than those used in the injection blanket, so the tensile and flexural strength of the silk-throwing blanket is higher than that of the injection blanket, and it is suitable for the thermal insulation environment with higher flexural and tensile properties.

The ceramic fibers of the injection blanket are thinner than those of the threading blanket, so it is inferior to the threading blanket in tensile and bending resistance, but the thermal conductivity of the injection blanket is better, which is suitable for the environment where the tear resistance of the ceramic fiber blanket is low and the thermal insulation performance of the single filament is higher.

According to its composition, it can be divided into 1050 common type, 1260 standard type, 1260 high purity type, 1400 high aluminium type, 1400 zirconium aluminium type and 1430 zirconium containing type. Its density is 96-128kg/m3.
