Ceramic fiber blanket has excellent fire resistance. It is often used in industry for thermal insulation. It is especially good at being used as heat insulation refractory for high temperature kiln. It has strong heat insulation ability, so it can save more heat. It is 1.2 times as energy-saving as similar heat insulation materials such as thermal insulation bricks. Ceramic fiber blanket can be divided into two kinds: silk fling blanket and jet blanket. Because the thickness of ceramic fiber is different, the characteristics and uses of the two kinds of ceramic fiber blankets are slightly different.
